My cat's name is "Church" I named her from the Steven King movie "Pet Cemetery" although my "Church "is a Black cat not an yellow one like the one in the movie. Black cats get a bad rap as they are not unlucky they are just as loving and just as full of fun as any other kind of cats. Because of their color (black) it makes them victims of abuse and sacrifice at Halloween time and I find this so sad. I have read that at Halloween the pounds will not even let a person adopt a black cat for fear that they will end up abused or even dead just for the simple reason they are black cats. Personally I think this is most unfortunate because it is just another reason people are afraid to adopt a black cat. Also I think it is a sick reason to torture an animal. All I really know is my cat is a black cat she is my friend and companion and she is a precious part of my family. Good cats wear Black.
